Curt is a practicing lawyer and senior attorney with Northwest Law, as well as Regional Counsel for Northwest Title Family of Companies, primarily serving the greater Columbus area. In addition to previously owning a title agency, Curt has over 30 years of experience in real estate and related law, representing buyers, sellers and lenders in the negotiation, drafting and interpretation of commercial and residential financing transactions, contracts, leases and other agreements for projects ranging from single family homes to multi-parcel industrial and commercial real estate complexes, automobile dealerships and aircraft acquisitions and sales.
Curt’s experience also includes abstracting and drafting surface, coal, oil, gas, and other related title examinations and opinions for companies acquiring desired real estate rights, together with representing oil and gas operators in title litigation matters, including cases involving royalty, ODMA, MTA, nuisance, and trespass claims.
