About Myron Shwartz, Esq.
Myron Shwartz (1921-2008), Alissa Holfinger's grandfather, dedicated his career in law to the representation of individuals in the criminal justice system.
Myron graduated from the Ohio State School of Law in 1964. Upon graduating he helped found the Franklin County Public Defender's Office. Thereafter, he continued his career in criminal defense as a sole practiioner. He earned the nickname "The Silver Fox", and was known for his cunning in the courtroom and for his compassionate heart for his clients and for justice. His passion for law was passed down to those he mentored, including his granddaughter, Alissa Holfinger, who had the privilege of working alongside him from 2002 through 2008.
